St. Sava U ot T Students 2026
The Association of Serbian Students at the University of Toronto celebrated its patron saint’s day, St. Sava. Together with Fr. Đurađ Kojić, the parish priest from Richmond Hill, we blessed the slava bread and koljivo in their premises. The kumа of the slava, a young student Dara from Oakville, prepared a beautiful slava bread and koljivo. The other students brought savory and sweet refreshments and drinks, creating a true slava atmosphere. This is the first time that a Serbian Orthodox priest has attended this event on university premises, so we hope that this newly begun tradition will continue and that there will be even more students in the future.
