Invitation to Serbian Day in Binbrook, July 6, 2025

THE TRADITIONAL SERBIAN DAY WILL BE HELD ON JULY 6, 2025, AT THE “HOLY TRINITY” ESTATE
ALL ROADS LEAD TO BINBROOK

The Vidovdan Assembly, better known among the people as Serbian Day, is not only an opportunity but a sacred duty to gather in great numbers and pay proper tribute and remembrance to all our ancestors who gave their lives defending and preserving our spiritual and cultural heritage — from the Battle of Kosovo to the present day, says Zoran Cvijetić, President of the Serbian National Defense Council of Canada.

President Zoran Cvijetić invites all patriotic Serbs across Canada and the United States to honor this year’s Traditional Serbian Day – the Vidovdan Assembly, organized by the Serbian National Defense Council, with their presence. The event will take place at the Serbian Orthodox Centre “Holy Trinity” in Binbrook, near Hamilton, on Sunday, July 6, 2025.

“Dear brothers and sisters,
On behalf of the organizers of the Traditional Serbian Day – the Vidovdan Assembly, the Serbian National Defense Council of Canada, in cooperation with the Serbian Orthodox Centre “Holy Trinity” in Binbrook, it is my honor and pleasure to warmly invite you to join us in great numbers to celebrate the 80th Vidovdan Assembly together, just as we have done in the past — so that this Assembly continues to remain one of the largest and most significant gatherings of Serbs on this continent.

The Serbian National Defense Council has been, is, and will remain one of the most important Serbian national and patriotic organizations in the rich history of the Serbian people. Since its founding in 1908, it has tirelessly fought to preserve Serbian identity.

The Vidovdan Assembly, better known as Serbian Day, is not only an opportunity but a sacred duty to gather in large numbers and pay rightful tribute and remembrance to all our ancestors who gave their lives to defend and preserve our spiritual and cultural heritage — from the Battle of Kosovo to this very day.”
